What does Shelley’s Gift Shop carry?
All of our products make great gifts for every occasion! From our household items like candles and ceramic mugs, to our delicious cookies, jams and sauces, every item is made by a small business. While most of our businesses are located in Virginia, we sell products from all over the United States. Most items in our store has received Shelley’s stamp of approval for high quality and guaranteed satisfaction.
What is the origin story of SGS?
In 2018, Shelley suffered a traumatic injury that would cause her to spend nearly two weeks in a hospital bed, followed by a very long recovery. Her friends and family wanted to support her by sending gifts. However, with no local or online gift shop that was suitable for the occasion, many resorted to Amazon. While the kind gestures were very much appreciated, the “gift” experience was bland and lacked emotion.
When Shelley had recovered, she quickly went to work creating what would become Shelley’s Gift Shop. Now Shelley focuses on how she can help send as many wonderful personalized gifts as possible, supporting local and small businesses in the process!
Where are you located?
Our brick-and-mortar store is located at 1727 W Main St in Richmond, VA in the Fan near Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). However, all of the great products you find in person are also available online on our website, 24/7/365!
When should I expect to receive my order?
We try to package all orders and drop them off with our shipping vendors (USPS or UPS) within 2-3 business days of your order. You will receive a confirmation email after you order has shipped with tracking information! For information on returns, please reference our Return Policy page located here.
Can I customize my gift before you send it?
Of course! Our website allows you to specify tissue paper color and add a message if you are sending a card. For any additional requests, please contact us at email@example.com or call 804-235-1064.
Do you accept group orders?
